Kelsi Creek is an Alternative Rock-Soul artist renowned for her dynamic energy and emotive songwriting. Self-taught as a singer-songwriter, Creek seamlessly blends powerful vocals with a distinctive rhythmic guitar style that distinguishes her in the music industry.
Born from a passion for storytelling, Creek's music explores themes of love, loss, societal issues, and the empowerment of self-advocacy.
Through her art, Kelsi is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, sharing a powerful and uplifting message: YOU ARE ENOUGH! The "You're Enough" designs were inspired by the memory of Kelsi’s dear friend Kim, who tragically lost her life to suicide in 2012, and in honor of her friend Tanner, who also faced mental health struggles and passed away in 2024. Through her vibrant and meaningful creations, Kelsi aims to inspire self-empowerment, encourage resilience, and promote mental well-being for all.
Outside of her work in music, Kelsi is deeply committed to animal welfare. She has volunteered with the SPCA and is currently involved with Austin Pets Alive!, where she dedicates her time to fostering, volunteering, and making donations to support the shelter's mission. When APA was first imagined, Austin had a kill-rate of 87% – today, they have a save-rate of 97%. Since 2022, Kelsi has been an active participant in the annual Adoption Fest hosted by the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club. The event, a carnival-themed gathering, connects children in the foster system with prospective foster parents, and Kelsi has been proud to contribute to this meaningful initiative. https://www.austincrc.org/about/
Kelsi is also a staunch advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, having actively participated in the legislative process by testifying at the Texas State Capitol in 2023. She spoke out against controversial bills SB 12, SB 1601, and SB 14, demonstrating her commitment to defending the rights and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community. https://www.aclutx.org
Since 2018, Kelsi has been dedicated to supporting unhoused communities nationwide, personally funding and raising resources to provide meals, hygiene essentials, and clothing to those in need.
Her most recent initiative involves collecting clothing and toys to support women and children at Safe Alliance. The SAFE Alliance exists to stop abuse for everyone by serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence. They are dedicated to ending violence through prevention, advocacy, and comprehensive services for individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by abuse.

Kelsi is also a part of the HAAM’s Musician Advisory Group where we work with HAAM Leadership and the HAAM Board of Directors. HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for greater Austin’s low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Many Austin musicians are self-employed and have no access to health insurance or basic healthcare. HAAM has helped musicians, DJs, and music teachers across Travis and surrounding counties access over $191 million in healthcare services since we began in 2005.
